Chic place, good food. Portion is a bit small but everything else makes up for it.

When does one go for lunch and ask only about the salad dressing? I did at Salon Vert. Last Friday, I went to Printemps. Hungry after window shopping, I decided to have something to eat. Located on the second floor this foliage pretty eating area is lovely. It has a bar area and comfortable seating. The menu had many tempting options so it was hard to narrow it down to just a quiche. The spinach and cheese quiche was accompanied by a side salad. The quiche was fairly small and tasted fine. The dressing of the salad was magical. Each bite of the salad sparkled with joy. I asked Karla and was told that there was a shallot confit in the dressing. Nick told me that if I preferred just the salad it would have the same dressing along with hazelnuts. Now that sounds rich! Service was efficient. The plates were pretty and sitting here was relaxing.

Simply outstanding. The portions are not large, but the food is very delicious - every bite. The service is outstanding and professional. The waiter went out of his way to answer our questions. The atmosphere was beautiful. An excellent place.

Salon Vert is a hidden gem in FiDi. Enjoying a nice drink and a bite after shopping has never been easier. It is very beautifully and thoughtfully designed - from the glasses and the cutlery to the chairs and the tables. The chocolate cake was delicious and the cocktails were had were very good as well. Will definitely enjoy a drink again next time we are in the store.
