Job Summary
As a Beauty Client Advisor at Printemps New York, you will be the face of our luxury beauty department, providing exceptional service and expertise to our clients. Your role will focus on creating a personalized and memorable shopping experience, building lasting relationships, and representing the high standards of the Printemps brand. With your knowledge of beauty products, trends, and luxury service, you will inspire and guide clients to discover the best products to meet their unique needs.
Printemps New York offers a curated selection of approximately 100 beauty brands, with a strong focus on French maisons alongside brands from around the world, including Switzerland, Korea, Austria, and beyond. The assortment is dynamic and continually evolving, featuring exclusive collaborations available only at Printemps New York. This role requires a specialist with expertise in makeup, fragrance, and/or skincare, capable of delivering elevated product knowledge and personalized service within a luxury retail environment.

Selling Requirements
• Conduct in store and/or remote selling activities, acting as a personal shopper.
• Sell products by meeting our clients’ needs and providing a memorable experience through high standard of service to clients throughout the whole sales process, following the brand's method.
• Initiate contact with customers and welcome them both on counter and through traffic-stopping.
• Connect with authenticity. Identify and understand clients needs through the art of conversation.
• Propose and demonstrate personalized product offers including makeup, fragrance and skincare. Offer the right service and conduct it perfectly. Propose complementary products within category and cross category. Offer a global fashion beauty approach.
• Communicate passionately, always share and educate clients on the brand and products.
• Achieve retail sales targets (in store and remote) and contribute to boutique KPIs on a weekly & monthly basis. Responsible to stay on top of one’s own business and how they are tracking vs. goals daily.

• Engage new clients to the brand, through genuine interactions.
• Learn and leverage company's content and tools to register client data, drive traffic, develop client loyalty and take actions.
• Achieve defined goals within all CRM activities, client recruitment, development, outreach and sales.
• Grow customer relationships through clientele experience, offering omnichannel services, targeted sampling, personalized services.
• Engage new clients to the brand, through genuine interactions.
• Learn and leverage company's content and tools to register client data, drive traffic, develop client loyalty and take actions.

• Play an active role in maintaining an esthetically pristine and hygienic boutique environment.
• Understand and support merchandising guidelines and inventory management.
• Operate cash registers and assist with closing daily revenues.
• Perform all assigned operational and administrative tasks.
• Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate immaculate personal grooming standards in accordance with the company's guidelines.
• Frequently handle, lift, and move merchandise safely.
• Understand and support merchandising guidelines and inventory management.
• Operate cash registers and assist with closing daily revenues.
• Perform all assigned operational and administrative tasks.
• Maintain and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate immaculate personal grooming standards in accordance with the company's guidelines.

Education, Experience, and Skills Needed
• 1-2 years of retail experience required, preferably in the luxury retail environment
• Experienced Make-Up Artistry / skills preferable.
• Knowledge and ability to build strong client book.
• Proven track record in achieving retail results (sales and profitability).
• Experience in selling makeup, fragrance and skincare. Preferably in a luxury environment.
• Digital savvy; experience/comfortable with operational POS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Outlook, HRIS systems, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS).
• Able to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Experienced Make-Up Artistry / skills preferable.
• Knowledge and ability to build strong client book.
• Proven track record in achieving retail results (sales and profitability).
