The Drift Zip Laptop Sleeve is handcrafted in Los Angeles from decommissioned racing yacht sails recovered through Sail to Shelter, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing end of life sailing materials. Designed to accommodate laptops up to 17 inches, it pairs the durability of reclaimed sailcloth with protective upcycled wetsuit padding, creating a lightweight yet resilient solution for everyday travel and work. Original stitching, creases, and markings from the sail are preserved, ensuring each sleeve carries a unique history while offering thoughtful functionality through multiple interior pockets and a streamlined profile. Because sailing materials cannot be conventionally recycled due to their complex construction, every piece represents a considered approach to reuse and craftsmanship.
