Atelier Materi is a French fragrance house devoted to the artistry of raw materials. Each scent explores a single ingredient in depth, composed with French craftsmanship and presented in bottles capped with sculptural concrete. Their all-gender Ambre Papier extrait de parfum is a rich, modern tribute to the tradition of burning benzoin resin. Centered on rare Siam benzoin tree, the composition moves from a bright, spicy opening of black pepper and red mandarin into the dark, electric warmth of saffron. The benzoin’s smooth, vanilla-like facets then unfold, deepened by Haitian vetiver and tonka for a soft yet powerful finish.
